Hi everyone! I teach 1st and 2nd grade. I was born in Japan and then I moved to the United States and grew up there. After attending college in the US, I came back to Japan and I've been living here ever since. My main instrument is piano. When I'm not teaching, I like to play with my cat (Mimi), watch movies and eat sweets!  Let's have a fun year!

Hello!  I lived in the United States  all my life until coming to GKA to teach. Even though my primary instrument is the saxophone, I also like playing flute and clarinet. When I'm not teaching, I like to play in the mountains! I hope we have a fun year making music together!

Nicholas Jackson (Elementary)
Hi ! I'm really happy to be teaching 3rd grade this year.  After graduating from Broad Run High School outside of Washington DC, I attended Shenandoah Conservatory in Winchester Virginia. When I'm not teaching or trying to learn Japanese, I enjoy taking walks outside and enjoying nature. It's going to be a really fun year!

Livio Fasullo (Elementary)
Hello Gunma-Kokusai Academy, my name is Mr. Fasullo and I am very excited to teach 4th, 5th, and 6th grade music!  I grew up in  Albany, New York, a small city in the United States that is near many mountains. When I`m not not teaching or playing the saxophone, I like to watch movies and spend time outside. I look forward to making lots of music this year!

Hey! I'm very excited to be teaching Junior High music at GKA! I was born in South Carolina (United States) and lived there until moving to Rochester, New York to attend the Eastman School of Music. I mostly play the trumpet (pictured left) but I enjoy teaching all instruments. When not playing trumpet or teaching, I enjoy cooking food, eating food, and watching movies while I eat that food. I'm looking forward to making music with everyone this year!
